Shopping carts wont wander MIND WURX® of Yorba Linda, Calif., has come up with a clever idea to keep shopping carts from being stolen. A buried cables circles the parking lot. When a specially equipped UnCart™ crosses over the cable it's normal front wheels collapse. The cart then rides on on a pair of casters fixed at a diagonal, and will only circle. In a seven-month test, cart losses fell from 18,000 to one.
